Author Trang The Hy, one of the region''s leading contemporrary writers,
died on Tuesday at his home in the Cuu Long (Mekong) River Delta City of
Ben Tre Province. He was 91.
Nguyen Minh Nhut, director of the Tre (Youth)
publishing House, has just signed a lifelong contract with veteran
writer Tran Kim Trac, who is famed with his short stories about the
southern region.
HCM City-based Tre Publishing House has signed a lifetime copyright deal
with veteran writer Trang The Hy, one of Viet Nam''s most venerated
contemporary literature writers.
